At the moment the Skipper naming convention is adhering to the recommended way how to create file names for Doctrine2 schema files.
Also, we do not plan to change the default behavior, because this change would impact a large amount of users who rely on current behavior.
You can easily change the resulting file name in the Property editor as shown on the screenshot:
